It also facilitates connection with spirit. Juniper has been used since ancient times by the Greeks to purify the air, by the Egyptians to help with passage into the afterlife, in ancient Europe to repel evil spirits and protect the home, by Native Americans to use in ceremony as well as a tea for colds and stomach issues. Diluting with a carrier oil for skin application is recommended.
